Long overdue but well deserved. I had the pleasure and privilege of Jason and his team build our home. Far from a typical build for Jason and Suzie, we met them at the build stage and not at the planning stage. Having said this when we first met onsite we went through everything as if it was their build from the beginning. Their knowledge clearly shone through on the first day and won us over immediately. We encountered some delays in getting the slab down due to weather issues, but they were on to us every other day with updates as to when they thought the slab would finally be put down.

The communication throughout the whole build process was constant, and I could ring either Jason or Suzie with questions at any time and they always got back to me the same day. The quality of the build is exceptional, everything we could have dreamed of for the size of our lot and more.

Jason made suggestions and improvements along the way that really made a difference to the finished product. They really are master builders and I would highly recommend Nu-Style to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reputable, honest and committed builder who truly cares about their clients needs and wishes.

Brad and I would like to sincerely thank you both for the wonderful experience we have had with Nu-Style Homes.

We heard so many horror stories about building and after meeting with some of the big companies and just feeling like a number we started to look for a better fit for us. We meet with Jason and instantly we felt that. We knew what we wanted and Jason helped make our dream come true.

As this was our first build we relied on Jason and put our total trust in him. Jason made us feel confident with our decisions by easily answering all our questions and offering professional guidance during the whole process. Jason was readily available and extremely patient during our planning stage. His attention to detail was second to none. Suzie was great supporting us and providing advice on interior selections. There were so many little touches that we greatly appreciate and thank you both for.Having a custom build gave us the freedom to do as much and as little as we wanted to do. Jason and his team worked well with services we did ourselves and we were never made to feel that anything was an inconvenience. We are so happy with our home and love coming home everyday. We can honestly say building a house with nu-style homes was the most exciting and personally structured process and we feel blessed to have made the call to Jason in the first place for a quote. The most important things to us were our tight budget and the heritage/industrial style we were going for, and it’s with great pleasure and gratitude that we write this testimonial for Jason and Suzie. Suzie just understood everything we were trying to encompass in our styling and Jason went out of his way time and time again to ensure we were on budget and to a standard that was second to none. When we had concerns about how something fitted in with the rest of the house, Jason had no problem tabling it to put forward suggestions to help us keep on track.

Our experience of building with Nustyle homes was a very positive one and Suzie and Jason helped make the building process relatively stress free. We have built many times before and can benchmark their performance highly against all other builders we have used in the past. They put in a lot of effort upfront, including working with architects, to make the actual building process way less stressful. Not only that, but Jason and Suzie showed flexibility when we needed to change things a little without it becoming a big issue - as it can be with some builders.

Jason was always available when, and we can say relatively rarely, any issues arose.  Jason would make contact with the tradesperson directly to resolve matters promptly.

Jason is a perfectionist and cared about finishes and workmanship of the various tradespeople as much as we as the owners were. If it wasn't done to his standards he would often initiate corrections before we even noticed, or could find, any issue. This standard was all the way throughout the process, from ensuring the building site is kept clean and tidy, right through to the final handover.

Suzie was extremely helpful coordinating the supply of the fixtures and fittings and was also available to help contribute thoughts and ideas when there were decisions we needed assistance with. We guess through truly listening to what the customer wanted, Suzie seemed to have a sixth sense in knowing what our taste was and, when asked, guiding us in the right direction.

After sales service has been excellent – Jason has come around to check on minor issues even a year after handover and has always got back to us when something has needed following up. It is very pleasing to have a builder who cares beyond the handover.

We are truly thrilled with our beautiful home and we would recommend Nustyle to anyone considering building with a custom builder where you need the extra attention to design and details.

When we decided to build our first house we were swamped with the opinions of others and their bad experiences with building their own houses. Comments such as “it was a nightmare”, “extremely stressful” and “time-consuming” just to name a few. We can honestly say that these experiences were the opposite of what we faced when we decided to build with Nu-Style homes.

The process of building with Nu-Style Homes was a wonderful and enjoyable journey. Appointments were always scheduled at suitable times, communication was excellent and the quality of construction far exceeds that of many of the display homes I have been in. Jason’s attention to detail, dedication to the job, professionalism and approachability are to be commended. Our house was built on time and on budget with no extra hidden costs. I distinctly remember having a walkthrough of our house during construction and the site manager of our neighbour’s property came over and said that our builder and his staff were excellent, and that we could be assured our house was a quality build.

Nu-Style Homes were very accommodating with any variations that we wanted carried out both during the design phase as well as construction. I remember calling Jason Adams mid-build asking him if I could re-arrange the layout of the back of the house after all the stud walls had been built. His response, “I’ll meet you on site in 30 minutes”. It was never too much to ask for what we wanted.

We have been in our beautiful home for 12 months now and have had no major problems. Small issues such as a paint touch up and tightening of a screen door were fixed speedily and with the utmost efficiency.

Our sincerest thank-you to Jason, Suzi and the rest of the Nu-Style Homes team. The end result far exceeds our expectations and we could not be happier with our home. Should we ever decide to build again, we will not hesitate to call Nu-Style Homes in the future.
