When we decided to build our first house we were swamped with the opinions of others and their bad experiences with building their own houses. Comments such as “it was a nightmare”, “extremely stressful” and “time-consuming” just to name a few. We can honestly say that these experiences were the opposite of what we faced when we decided to build with Nu-Style homes.

The process of building with Nu-Style Homes was a wonderful and enjoyable journey. Appointments were always scheduled at suitable times, communication was excellent and the quality of construction far exceeds that of many of the display homes I have been in. Jason’s attention to detail, dedication to the job, professionalism and approachability are to be commended. Our house was built on time and on budget with no extra hidden costs. I distinctly remember having a walkthrough of our house during construction and the site manager of our neighbour’s property came over and said that our builder and his staff were excellent, and that we could be assured our house was a quality build.

Nu-Style Homes were very accommodating with any variations that we wanted carried out both during the design phase as well as construction. I remember calling Jason Adams mid-build asking him if I could re-arrange the layout of the back of the house after all the stud walls had been built. His response, “I’ll meet you on site in 30 minutes”. It was never too much to ask for what we wanted.

We have been in our beautiful home for 12 months now and have had no major problems. Small issues such as a paint touch up and tightening of a screen door were fixed speedily and with the utmost efficiency.

Our sincerest thank-you to Jason, Suzi and the rest of the Nu-Style Homes team. The end result far exceeds our expectations and we could not be happier with our home. Should we ever decide to build again, we will not hesitate to call Nu-Style Homes in the future.
